INTRODUCTION
AIDS is a global pandemic disease since the first report of the disease 34.9 million people have died1. The number of infected people is still increasing and we still do not have any certain cure for the disease. In 1981 the disease was first reported and later the causal organism for the disease was identified to be the HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus. Mostly the low and middle-income countries have most of the infected people. ART or Anti-Retroviral therapy is the current mode of treatment of the disease. A report published by UNAIDS (2012) suggests 9.7 million people are currently accessing ART1.
